Chris founded Calabrese & Associates, P.C. in 2005. He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of accounting, taxation, and auditing. Currently, he focuses on helping small businesses and startups by providing tax planning, corporate and individual tax preparation, payroll, bookkeeping, and consulting services.
He graduated from Hofstra University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. After four years in the audit department at the major accounting firm KPMG, Chris left to become a Senior Manager at the mid-size public accounting firm Rynkar, Vail & Barrett LLP.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Harjot is a trusted accounting professional who helps individuals and businesses navigate complex tax and financial matters with confidence. With more than six years of experience, he brings a proactive and detail-driven approach to tax preparation, planning, and financial reporting. Harjot works closely with clients to minimize risk, improve clarity, and support informed financial decisions.
Harjot holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. Known for his reliability and strong communication skills, Harjot takes pride in building long-term client relationships and delivering timely, high-quality results. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, allowing him to serve a diverse client base with personalized attention.
Teresa joined Calabrese & Associates, P.C. in 2013. Teresa graduated from St. John’s University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After college, she worked for four years in the audit and tax departments at the major accounting firm KPMG. Teresa then spent time with both St. Vincent’s Services and the Archdiocese of New York.
She specializes in improving the books and records of small business clients as well as computer accounting system assistance (specializing in QuickBooks) and tax preparation. She is fluent in Italian allowing her to serve a diverse client base with personalized attention.
Susan joined Calabrese & Associates CPA, PC in 2019. After a 20 year career as a Registered Nurse she chose to pursue a career in accounting. She graduated from Nassau Community College in 2025 with an Associate of Science in Accounting.
She specializes in improving the books and records of small business clients as well as computer accounting system assistance (specializing in QuickBooks) and tax preparation. Susan also serves as our office manager and is a Notary Public. Susan is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. She is fluent in Italian allowing her to serve a diverse client base with personalized attention.
