Christopher J Calabrese, CPA

Chris graduated from Hofstra University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.  After 4 years in the audit department with the major accounting firm KPMG, he left to become a Senior Manager at the mid-size public accounting firm of Rynkar, Vail & Barrett LLP.  He opened up Calabrese & Associates CPA, PC in 2005.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of accounting, taxation and auditing.  Currently he focuses his efforts on helping small businesses and startups by performing tax planning, corporate and individual tax preparation, payroll, bookkeeping and consulting services.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Teresa Mura

Teresa graduated from St. John’s University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  After college she worked 4 years in the audit and tax departments with the major accounting firm KPMG and then spent time with both St. Vincent’s Services as well as the Archdiocese of New York.  She joined Calabrese & Associates in 2013.

Teresa focuses her time on improving the books and records of small business clients as well as computer accounting system assistance (specializing in QuickBooks).
